Or for the adults, why not just have the Neca movie, while were at it? Or to add insult to injury, why not rip off he Lego Movie even further by making the Mega Bloks movie, or the Kreo movie? Mom can we watch the Lego movie Mom: we got one at home One at home. Em, was I suppose to laugh. I think the poor reviews this movie received are a reflection of a jaded, entirely-adult community of reviewers. It wasn't perfect - it was somewhat light on jokes that my 5-year-old understood and the live action sequences were a little tense and ill-fitting, but made for acceptable bookend sequences. The screenplay was quite good, and the voice acting was superb. The songs weren't the focal point of the movie & kind of began and ended without much adieu, which I actually preferred over the jarring music video feel of the songs in Frozen/2. Gaffigan's character felt like he wrote his dialogue himself and thus it was a particular highpoint. The joke at the end about the other dinosaurs recognizing the main one was an excellent end to the movie. The entire sequence with Radcliffe was very good viewing material, though maybe not as much for young kids.

She went from doing a slew of horror films and thrillers to this shit. level 1 Considering how Lego Movie 2 did I can't imagine this doing too hot. level 2 In fact, it seems very likely that "Playmobil" won't even get close to the numbers of "Lego Ninjago, " which itself flopped with around $123 million WW on a $70 million budget. level 1 With Angry Birds 2 and Dora and the Lost City of Gold likely to remain solid holdovers by this point on the calendar — plus the consideration of the LEGO Movie franchise having tapped a similar market already in recent years — we’re bearish on domestic prospects for this release. Dora is gonna sweep the competition But seriously, did anybody else not realize this was coming out next month at all? level 2 I mean to be serious it looks like Dora will sweep the competition ( and by competition I mean smaller movie like this). Honestly if Dora actually turns out to be a crowdpleaser similar to Jumanji last year( I don't mean by it being actually good as Jumanji), then it can have decent legs in my opinion level 1 August looks so dead. Should be some small help to Endgame, Aladdin, TS4, FFH, TLk, OUATIH, and H&S. level 1 Does this have a chance at breaking out in some Euro markets as it's a German based toy line? Its only close competition is Dora and that comes out 3 weeks earlier and is probably not gonna be a major success to hurt it that bad. I don't know how popular the property is overseas, though. (not talking huge, but maybe like Johnny English 3 numbers? ) Edit - forgot Angry Birds Movie 2 comes out 2 weeks before, too. God, who decided August was dumping ground for every mid-low tier kids movie this year? level 2 The entire stretch between this and a few weeks after Dora will be so full of memes and I am not prepared level 2 Ready or Not, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Hobbes and Shaw, and Where’d You Go Bernadette all look like pretty decent/fun films in my opinion. I also think Good Boys could be surprisingly fun level 1 I want to support mini-majors like STX and have them do well but god they don’t make it easy. level 1 Apparently, it seems like BoxOfficePro is predicting this movie to do even worse than "Uglydolls" at the box office, with only half the domestic total of the May release that already became another flop for STX (which is only distributing "Playmobil" in America). That's a bit lower than what many of us are predicting (even though we also believe it will do very poorly), although I won't be too surprised if the animation performs worse than our estimates given its bland marketing and lack of buzz. level 1 My predictions: $505M OW $2. 17B DOM $7. 25B WW /s level 1 Playmobil is still popular?
